Looking back on 2025
As we approach Christmas 2025, it’s time to reflect on what we’ve achieved with DBmarlin this year. From significant growth to innovative features and exciting partnerships, 2025 has been transformative. In this post, we’ll explore the new product features we’ve introduced and the valuable partnerships we’ve formed to enhance the DBmarlin experience.
Some of the new features we added in 2025
Throughout the year, we have introduced several new product features to empower you in monitoring and managing your database environments. Here are just some of the highlights.

- Alerts can now be sent to a Webhook.
- DBmarlin Co-pilot now supports many more providers and models including the very latest Google Gemini Pro 3 and OpenAI GPT 5.1 as well as models running in Microsoft Azure.

Valuable partnership and collaboration – IBM
Since June this year, you have been able to purchase DBmarlin through IBM Passport Advantage under offering ID 5900-BS3. This simplifies the licensing and ordering process for IBM clients already using Instana Observability. The collaboration with IBM this year has reached new levels, with more joint customers, more events, and more product links. Stay tuned for more coming in the new year.
Looking back on this year, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved with DBmarlin. New product features and valuable partnerships have driven our growth and success. We’re grateful to our customers, partners, and the entire DBmarlin community for their support and trust. We look forward to another year of innovation and collaboration, empowering you to monitor and manage your database environments.
One more thing…
Please see our new wall of love to read what our customers are saying about DBmarlin, and please consider adding your own review, which would be much appreciated.
