DBmarlin can receive events from CI/CD tools that can make an HTTP call, including deployment platforms, build servers and custom pipeline scripts. If your tool can call an API endpoint or run curl, it can send release events into DBmarlin.
Connect deployments to database performance
CI/CD tools can send custom deployment events to DBmarlin for code releases, database changes and operational activity. DBmarlin displays those events alongside database performance data so teams can see whether a release helped, hurt or had no measurable impact.
Use the DBmarlin events API
Configure your pipeline to make a POST request to the DBmarlin /archiver/rest/v1/event endpoint. The event payload can include the start time, database target ID, event type, title, description, colour and a details URL that links back to the build or deployment in your CI/CD tool.
